Hell yeah, Sanguine 2 is one of my favorite games, loved the mechanics and I'm glad to see that we're getting Sanguine 3! Any chance we could get some cyberpunk vibes mixed into the game? Like maybe have a level where you climb a skyscraper with neon billboards or something like that?

A skyscraper with neon billboards... That wouldn't really be period appropriate. Sanguine takes place in a fictional world, but it's meant to be (loosely) around the year 1900. There can be a little bit of steampunk in there or maybe outright magic, but I also have ancient castles and what have you.

That said, the night life is a major inspiration for the game. In Sanguine 2 I had neon looking symbols in the sewer level. The hum of a neon sign is oh-so appealing but I think it'd be out of place. I could have something more neon-ish in a laboratory kind of setting. I mean to have a laboratory tower level that weaves between inside and outside.

@RayBeckham Honestly a laboratory tower level would probably do the trick, and yeah I loved the neon from those levels but don't get me wrong the castles are great too! Can't wait to see the new game, good luck!

Will there be a demo?
It would be cool if you include a second playable male characther of the same species or another mode like a boss rush mode

I'm very sorry your other project fell through, but I'm really excited to hear that you're working on Sanguine III! I know I've said before, but the first two are some of my favorite games of all time. Really isn't any other game (flash or othwerwise) that can compare to them. If you ever feel inclined to open a Patreon or Kickstarter I'd love to contribute in some way.

I'm glad to hear you're still working on Sanguine, I strongly believe someone like you can make the best of what he's got. I hope you can get more used to that new game making software.
Look up if there's some rather recent engine for browser games that's based on ye ol' Flash engine. That's gotta exist.

I wish you the best buddy I love your stuff, if you ever make a Patreon or start a kickstarter project i'd love to donate.
Cheers!
